University of New Mexico Cancer Center
SBA was one of three firms invited to participate in an interior design competition for the University of New Mexico’s Cancer Center. The rooms designed for the competition include the lobby, reception area, conference room and an upstairs public space. A nature-based theme, involving Native American healing wildflower colors and patterns, was central to the design. Additionally, a collection of black and white photographs of past and current clients would be displayed throughout the public areas. The building is currently under construction with architecture by Rohde May Keller McNamara of Albuquerque in conjunction with VOA Associates from Chicago.
