The Artist’s Studio is located in the center of Santa Fe’s historic district.

 

A creative environment within walking distance of the owner’s home, the masonry building is bermed into the side of an existing ten foot tall hill, providing privacy from the neighbors and street.

 

Long clerestories in the main studio provide even, natural light, leaving large wall surfaces for the development of painting canvases.

 

A zen garden, hidden behind exposed concrete walls, provides meditative comfort with the soft sounds of gentle native grasses.

 

MoBo and SBA worked with the family designing and constructing 11 projects on the property, with Denman Construction, Molly Mehaffey and Donna Bone.
