PLANNING + CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS  FOR TRIKAYA TARA MANDALA TEMPLE and TARA MANDALA CAMPUS

Lama Tsultrim Allione, the first female ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist Monk in the United States, has founded a beautiful campus in Pagosa Springs Colorado to teach the interface between Western psychology and Tibetan Buddhism;

offering both solo and group practice, study and retreat, inspired by and anchored in authentic lineages of Vajaryana Buddhism.

The Spiritual and Educational Center is dedicated to the 21 Taras, and the Green Tara, the spiritual reincarnation of Boddhisatva, the female Buddha, teaching enlightened activity, and mother energy.

Lama Tsultrim Allione approached SBA requesting assistance in translating her vision into drawings and renderings, to share her vision with others.

Lama  Tsultrim Allione and David Petit, working with the remarkable Tibetan artist Lama Gyurme Rabgye, and a team of Colorado contractors, designed and constructed three primary buildings on the Campus beginning in 2005. The design and construction of the campus continues today.

Lama Gyurme Rabgye created, constructed and painted all the artwork in and on the Temple. The Dala Lami selected Lama Gyurme to found an Art School in Tibet, dedicated to teaching the historic lineage of Tibetan Spiritual Arts.    Continuing programs in Santa Fe, and in the the United States, fund the Art School, and continue this remarkable artistic and spiritual lineage.
