The City of Santa Fe began to see in the 1990s a conflict between residential zoning, and automobile traffic passing through residential districts to adjacent commercial zoning. In the process SBA worked with the City Planning Department to conceive of Mixed Use Zoning along those public throughfares. One of the first re-zoning districts was on Don Diego between Cerrillos Road and Cordova. The attached images were the first of the rezoned districts, where small homes were turned into small offices and mixed use zoning.
