KATZ-WONG RESIDENCE

Morrow Bowden Architects designed this home and guest house for Joan and Ira Katz in the village of Galisteo, New Mexico.

Later, the Katz moved to California, and the home was purchased by the Wong family, who requested a new exterior porch be added to the original house.  Suby Bowden + Associates designed the new porch.

The exterior of the house is all natural colors to blend with the existing landscape.

The interior courtyard and the interior of the house have brightly colored mexican themes (requested by the Katz family) which would not otherwise be visibly allowed by the neighborhood association.
