FEDERAL EXPRESS TERMINALS

FedEx National Corporation (1998-2003)

SBA designed 3 prototypes for Hubs at the Denver, Boston and Baltimore Airports, for the Corporate Design and Production of air, freight and transport. Each facility required both renovation and expansion to meet the sorting demands of 12,000 to 16,000 packages in a 3-hour period, and Federal, State, Local and Airport review. Total size of the 3 projects is 222,400 sq.ft. FedEx has in-house construction administration and their own construction crews.

FedEx JBCRT Facility outside of Boston, MA

SBA created a Master Plan and Architecture for a 20-acre site, to include a total existing building renovation and a 60,000 sq. ft. addition.  Our design and management skills provided a $1,000,000 construction cost savings to the client’s original programming cost estimate.
