STONE HOME

The Stone Home

was designed for a single man,

who had moved from the East Coast to Santa Fe, and who desired a traditional feeling home.

With research, old stone building materials were found at a local stone yard.

Therefore these materials became the centerpiece of the home, on all sides of the entry hall, and therefore the same stone walls were also viewed in the Living Room, and in the Kitchen-Dining Room.

Wood Vigas, and corbels, and columns,

were all carved to purposefully feel old fashioned and of another age, such as the 1940's .

However technology throughout the house was contemporary, for electronics and security and lighting and heating and plumbing.
