Morrow Bowden Architect's salon

won the 1992 ASID Interior Architecture Award for New Mexico.

 

The custom designed salon was created for two contemporary New York hair designers to reflect the qualities of Santa Fe and New York.

 

Black and white finishes combined with high design Italian chairs and custom designed mirrors create an interior space that is sleek and pure, with a cool, comforting machinist esthetic.

 

A selection of economical materials and clean design facilitates a low budget project.

 

The essential interior design of the salon is still being used today with new owners, almost  24 years later.
